To obviate these objections, I designed and worked a new desiccator which from its appearance I have called the " Lampshade. I venture L Hdnk its success has been so pronounced, that it is worthy of notice by the profession in India, the more so as it is at present the only nlftuue desiccator that reaches the bacteriological ideal as regards temperatures.
